hullo. my name is charley, and i am a precocious, all-rounded, verbose, oversexed, centre-right, seventeen-year-old queerboy from london. my pa's ma was a dutch jew. my pa's pa was an algerian arab. and my ma's ma and pa were scottish catholics. i'm a secular citizen of the world. [fear not, for i don't actually use the words pa and ma.]

i am currently residing as a student student at the united world college of the atlantic .. out in the proverbial sticks .. the deepestest, most darkestest south welsh countryside .. it's a mixed boarding school, with students from over eighty countries; it's got its own cinema-theatre complex, tennis courts, swimming pool, graveyard, scenic gardens, cliffs, beach and farm. apply?

i'm a paid-up member of the united kingdom's conservative party. but i'm also a member of its sub-groups: the conservative group for europe, the tory reform group, conservative future and gay conservatives. i'm progressive, libertarian and internationalist, but support the meritocratic principle of capitalism.
